The Miss South Carolina Pageant returns to television June 28, 2014

Agapé Senior serves as the organization’s premiere sponsor as the pageant returns to television

´╗┐Hartsville, South Carolina (April 23, 2014) – The Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization is proud to announce its return to television for this year’s 78th annual Miss South Carolina Pageant. The pageant competition will air in its entirety on Saturday, June 28, 2014. The Miss South Carolina Pageant will take place in the Township Auditorium in Columbia, South Carolina. The 2014 Miss South Carolina Pageant can be viewed on WACH Fox and the Sinclair Network throughout South Carolina (MyTv in Charleston, CW Myrtle Beach, My40 in Greenville) from 8 pm until 10:30 pm.

The Miss South Carolina Pageant was first televised in the 1960s until the 1998 pageant. Televising began again with the 2000 pageant before it was last televised in 2006. Events will begin with the Preliminary Miss and Teen Competitions on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 and go through Thursday, June 26, 2014. The Miss South Carolina Teen Finals will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014. Tickets for all events can be purchased as of May 5, 2014 from the Township Auditorium Box Office or online with TicketMaster.com.
